Description:
With $15 a day to cover accommodation and three meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
What you get

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

You can use our laundry room freely.

Program Details
Bagek Kembar Mangrove Ecotourism in West Lombok offers a meaningful volunteer opportunity for individuals who are passionate about environmental conservation, digital media, and community-based tourism.
As a volunteer, you will help manage and update our website and create engaging, educational content for our social media platforms. Your contribution will support efforts to promote mangrove conservation, raise awareness among visitors, and strengthen the online presence of the local ecotourism initiative.
This program is ideal for those who want to apply their digital skills in a real-world setting, while also experiencing the beauty of Lombok and contributing to a sustainable cause.
Activities & Shift
Work Days:
Monday to Thursday (approximately 4 to 6 hours per day, flexible hours)
Days Off:
Friday to Sunday (free time to explore the island or participate in local activities)
Volunteer activities may include the following:
Updating and maintaining content on the Bagek Kembar website, including blog posts, photos, and event updates
Capturing and editing photos or videos of the mangrove area and related activities
Writing short educational content about mangroves, sustainability, and the local environment
Designing and scheduling content for social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
Monitoring website and social media engagement
Collaborating with local staff or community members for content ideas or interviews
Rules
To ensure a positive experience for both volunteers and the local community, the following rules apply:
Commitment to Schedule
Volunteers are expected to work from Monday to Thursday, with Friday to Sunday as designated rest days, unless otherwise agreed upon.
Respect for Local Culture
Volunteers should respect the traditions, beliefs, and lifestyle of the local community at all times.
Environmental Awareness
Volunteers are expected to be environmentally conscious, avoid single-use plastics, and help keep the mangrove area clean.
Content Responsibility
All website and social media content must be appropriate, educational, and aligned with the mission and values of Bagek Kembar.
Team Collaboration
While much of the work can be done independently, volunteers are encouraged to work collaboratively, share ideas, and support one another as part of the team.
