C4C communicated very well and quickly let me know where I was going. My host and her family were truly amazing. I was welcomed like family and cared for very well, sharing most meals at home or going out. I stayed in the volunteer apartment and was lent a bike to get around. The center has two classrooms, and her lesson plans guided me while leaving room to bring in my own teaching. The students were wonderful and eager to learn. On days off, we went on outings, sometimes with students joining. It was inspiring to see how much she cared and was personally invested in each student's success.
