The experience

Hi there! 👋 We’re a small, easy-going family with a little one, and we’re in the middle of transforming our van into a cozy camper. 🚐✨ We’re looking for someone who’d love to be part of this adventure with us!
What you’ll do:
Help with the van renovation: sanding, painting, building, holding things while we fix them, or sharing your own DIY ideas 🛠️
Occasionally give us a hand with cooking simple meals 🍳,and keep our little girl

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Fluent Afrikaans or Intermediate English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

When we’ll need you:

Mostly on weekends (that’s when we’ll be deep into the van project!)

Sometimes during the week for a few hours of family help

What you’ll get:
