The experience

Daily Life & Tasks
Volunteers mainly help with bedding and cleaning from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM to keep the hostel comfortable for guests. After that, you’ll have free time to relax or explore Seoul. If you’re around, it would be great to help with guest check-ins (optional). One day off per week, scheduled Tue–Thu. Accommodation, breakfast, and storage for large suitcases are provided.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 19 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Join our newly opened capsule-style hostel in the heart of Myeongdong, Seoul! Volunteers will help maintain a clean and comfortable space for our guests while gaining hands-on experience in hostel operations. Main tasks include bedding and cleaning, and volunteers may assist with simple guest support when available. Accommodation, breakfast, and storage for large suitcases are provided. Volunteers are expected to work responsibly and collaborate harmoniously with the team.

Activities & Shift

Daily Tasks (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM): Bedding change and cleaning of common areas.

Guest Support: If you’re around, it’s great to help with guest check-ins (optional).

After 2:00 PM: Free time to relax or explore Seoul.

Days Off: One day per week, scheduled on Tue–Thu (flexible).

Rules

Be punctual and responsible in completing assigned tasks.

Work cooperatively and respectfully with the team.

Follow hostel guidelines for safety and guest privacy.

English and Japanese speakers preferred (optional but appreciated).
