Me personally, I had a beautiful time here. A lot of self growth, and was able to bring my skills to help contribute to a positive project. There were many laughs and beautiful days here! I walked almost everyday after the volunteering hours, and enjoyed the property so much!

The home will stay in my heart for a long time! Wonderful house with a garden and a view of the ocean. A host with whom I had a lot in common. And the team! It was really hard for me to believe how lucky I was to come across such a place and such people during my 1st solo trip. The work was sometimes hard, but that's what I came here for! I did a lot of things for the first time in my life, for which I sincerely thank you! Ervin always made sure that everybody is okay with the tasks. If you value privacy, you like to learn new things, you love food and wonderful views is a place for you!

Our time with Erwin and his mother Josiane was unique. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. The work was relaxed and varied, always light and enjoyable. Erwin cooked delicious dinners in the evenings and kindly took us on beautiful walks during our free days, while Josiane added her gentle presence to the house. For us this experience was a journey of self-growth, acceptance, understanding, and giving help without expecting much in return. It may not suit everyone, especially if seeking a more structured setup. We leave with love, gratitude, and wonderful memories in our hearts.

I had an unforgettable stay at the home! Erwin and Josiane made me feel at home from the second I arrived. Communication went fluently since we share the same mother tongue, Dutch, however they're also fairly fluent in English (and perfect in French). They took me with them to explore the island, which was great! They really treated me like family! Make sure to be flexible, since tasks can vary from day to day, which is also nice so you have a lot of variation! And don't be scared of some insects. We almost always cooked and ate delicious food together! I really recommend this position! 😃

Our stay at Erwin and Josieannes home was a very ideal first Worldpackers experience. The basics described on the website were all there: the accomodation was comfortable, the workload was feasible and you never had to go to bed hungry. Furthermore, Erwin loves to cook and learn new recipes as well so that was a huge plus. The workload was not monotonous for us and truly interesting and Erwin always organized it in accordance with the volunteers and in regards to the hours on the website. It's good to be flexible bc working plans for the day can change depending on weather, staffing etc.:)

I had a great time at the home. The work was good, Erwin lets you choose tasks and you can always do different ones. He showed us many places around the island. Also, his mother and him are very kind people. Our room was clean and comfortable and the food situation was nicely handled. Julian and I also got to know great volunteers, especially Nele, which I am really thankful for and it made the stay even more fun. I am glad I made this experience and seeing how much the place developed during the time we were here makes me happy.

My volunteering experience was amazing. I felt like family with Erwin and his mother Josie, they have heart on good place. The house and the nature around are so beautiful. The work can be easy, some days more difficult, but you will see results and that is a good motivation. Erwin always helped us with hard work or when we needed help, I learned a lot from him! He motivated us and praised us for our work. I really enjoyd so much delicious food and learn new recipes. I spent amazing time with other volunteers Morgana, Henni and Julian. I will miss this place a lot and i can only recommend!! ❤️

Hi, I'm Morgana and I've been for 5 weeks in the home to volunteering. But I can say that for the whole trip the home it has been a second home and not a simple place. The volunteer experience was fantastic. Erwin and his mom Josie were amazing hosts, very willing to dialogue. The job itself is a very enriching experience because it allows you to do many different jobs and therefore it is also a way to learn how to do new things, and Erwin makes everything easier because he's a great teacher. This is the perfect place where you can get involved and do good for other human beings 😊🌟🌞.

This is volunteering! the home is one of the most beautiful place to live. Erwin is pure energy and has a great vision. You will be involved to his project very easy and very fast and you'll love it. Erwin like to exchange ideas, respect timetables and the skills of every person. Me and Vanessa are marketing consultants and we helped him with our knowledge, but he teached us many tricks about the hand works from the building to the gardening. Our mission was to learn something about the managing of a business like the home and it was totally accomplished. Thanks Erwin!
