Community & Content Creator – Nomaya Surf House

The experience

We’re looking for a Community & Content Creator to join Nomaya Surf House for our opening. Your role: film and edit reels/TikToks, capture spontaneous moments, post regularly, take lifestyle photos (beach, surf, yoga, rooftop), animate the community with fun ideas and good vibes, and occasionally help with daily tasks like check-ins/check-outs.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Under 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

At Nomaya Surf House, we want our Worldpackers to feel like part of the family from day one. You’ll be our content wizard and community spark—capturing the energy of our surf house through videos, photos, and social media posts, while also helping to create a warm and lively atmosphere for our guests.

You can expect a fun, creative, and international environment where every day is different, one day you might be filming a sunrise surf session, the next hosting a rooftop game night. We’ll provide you with space to express your creativity, the freedom to pitch your own ideas, and the chance to meet travelers from all over the world.

In return, we expect you to bring positive energy, be proactive, and be part of our daily life, whether that’s creating content, chatting with guests, or lending a hand with check-ins when needed. This is a role for someone who loves people, the ocean, and sharing good vibes. 🌊✨

Activities & Shift

Shifts

5 days a week, around 5 hours per day

Flexible schedule depending on activities and lighting (e.g., sunrise surf, sunset rooftop)

Content creation will be spread throughout the day, some moments in the morning (surf), some in the afternoon/evening (activities, sunset)

Two days off per week to explore, surf, or relax

-Be punctual for activities and content deadlines (sunsets don’t wait 😉)

-Treat guests, team members with kindness and respect

-Keep shared spaces tidy, this is your home too!

-No loud noise after quiet hours so everyone can rest

-Respect the privacy of guests when filming, always ask if they’re comfortable being on camera

-Be mindful of equipment (cameras, surf gear, etc.) and use it responsibly
