What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Web Developer: Help develop and maintain websites.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: For just $15, participants will receive breakfast, lunch, dinner, and accommodation for the duration of the event.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate French

Between 18 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Indonesia

Program Details

Our volunteer program at Deep Blue Sea Dive offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to marine conservation and promote ocean awareness. Volunteers will be involved in managing the website: www.dbsdive.com and creating engaging social media content to highlight our activities such as ocean adventures, coral reef planting, diving, and snorkeling. This program is designed to develop your creative skills, deepen your understanding of marine ecology, and connect you with a passionate team dedicated to preserving marine life around Lombok Island. The commitment is 4 days a week, from Monday to Thursday, giving you three full days off to relax or explore the stunning surroundings.

Activities & Shift

Content Creation: Develop creative and informative posts, reels, and stories for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook showcasing our projects, marine life, and volunteer experiences.

Website Management: Update and maintain the website to keep it current and engaging, including uploading blogs, event updates, and photo galleries.

Guest Assistance: When guests participate in ocean activities like diving, snorkeling, or coral reef planting, you will accompany them and capture footage to be used as content for the website.

Monitoring & Engagement: Respond to comments and messages on social media to build community and raise awareness.

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This schedule is flexible and may be extended when guests require assistance.

Rules

Volunteers must commit to the full 4-day workweek schedule (Monday to Thursday).

Respect local customs, marine conservation ethics, and safety protocols at all times.

Use equipment and digital tools responsibly and follow guidelines for content posting.

Maintain professionalism and positive communication within the team and with the community.

Volunteers are expected to be proactive, creative, and open to feedback to help improve our outreach efforts.
