Program Details

Our project emphasizes community participation and education. The project's goal is to raise awareness about environmental issues among the residents of Nagari Sungai Pinang. This is accomplished through a variety of educational programs and workshops that educate community members on the significance of turtles and coral reefs, the dangers they encounter, and ways to protect them.
This serves as a great demonstration of how conservation and community education can work together. The project is making significant progress towards a sustainable future by safeguarding the turtle population and coral reefs and educating the local residents about the importance of these ecosystems. It acts as a guide of optimism, illustrating that by being committed and actively participating in the community, we can protect our valuable marine ecosystems for future generations.

In our project, we are also establishing a Youth Development Centre that includes education in art, sports, the environment, technology, science, and music. It is an admirable initiative that has the ability to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and children. The project aims to empower young individuals by offering a wide variety of programs and resources, enabling them to succeed academically, explore their creativity, adopt healthy lifestyles, advocate for the environment, and develop their musical talents. In the end, this initiative could act as a trigger for self-improvement, involvement in the community, and beneficial transformation for young individuals.

The project is situated in Nagari Sungai Pinang, a small fishing village in the southern part of Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. It is a small, simple, traditional fishing village, yet vibrant and bustling with
