The experience

We’re looking for a creative soul with experience in music, visual arts, or theater to help bring artistic life to our restaurant and gallery. You can lead workshops, collaborate on creative projects, or even perform live. The goal is to inspire our guests and community through art in all its forms.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Description: Volunteer contributes $10 to cover expenses like food and maintenance.

Program Details

Cundeamor is a creative restaurant and art space surrounded by nature in Vieques, Puerto Rico.
We’re developing a multidisciplinary art program that blends music, visual arts, and performance. Volunteers can share their talent by teaching, creating, or performing — from intimate acoustic sessions to small exhibitions or theatrical pieces.

Activities & Shift

-Adapt lessons for beginners and different age groups.
-Create an inclusive and inspiring atmosphere.
-Leading or assisting in creative workshops (music, painting, acting, etc.)
-Collaborating on live performances or events
-Setting up the space with lighting, props, or decorations
-Maintaining the gallery area organized and inspiring
-Occasionally helping with other tasks related to the restaurant or events

Rules

Volunteers stay in a shared house with other participants, and everyone must help keep the common areas tidy and respectful. This includes cleaning up after yourself and maintaining a peaceful shared environment.

This position is artistic and flexible, but also part of a real work exchange — we value responsibility, independence, and collaboration.

Expectations:
• Be respectful and considerate of others’ space, time, and creative work.
• Maintain the gallery and creative area clean and organized after each use.
• Plan and coordinate performances or workshops in communication with the host.
• Respect the schedule and work hours agreed upon.
• No drugs or excessive alcohol use are allowed on the property.
• Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm.
• Volunteers may be asked to help with other light tasks related to events or the restaurant when needed.
