Help Us Bring Theatre to Life in Vieques🎭

The experience

We dream of making theatre accessible to our community. We’re looking for a theatre or acting teacher to lead workshops, inspire creativity, and bring stories to life 🎭 in our multidisciplinary art space.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 7 Per day

Description: Volunteers contribute $7 per day to cover food and maintenance expenses.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate Spanish or Beginner English

Over 21 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our gallery already hosts exhibitions and workshops, and now we want to expand into performing arts. By teaching acting and movement, you’ll help participants build confidence 💪, teamwork, and artistic expression.

Activities & Shift

-Lead acting, improvisation, or movement workshops.
-Adapt lessons for beginners and inspire creativity.
-Collaborate on small community showcases or performances.

⏰ Classes take place in the afternoons/evenings. Mornings are free to enjoy the beach or nature 🌊. Meals are shared with the team, and weekends may bring bonfires, live music, and cultural events 🎶.

Commitment: 25 hours per week | 2 days off
