How It Works
At La Halte Internationale, volunteers help keep the house tidy and welcoming through three main daily moments:
1️⃣ Morning – Quick check of the kitchen sink.
2️⃣ Late morning (11 AM–1 PM) – Make rooms and bathrooms fresh for guests.
3️⃣ Evening – Turn off lights, check sink again, and connect with guests.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers follow a simple daily rhythm focused on keeping the house welcoming and comfortable.
• Morning (5–10 min) – Quick check of the kitchen sink and common areas.
• Late Morning (11 AM–1 PM) – Main cleaning shift: refresh rooms, change linens, tidy bathrooms, and maintain shared spaces.
• Evening (10–15 min) – Turn off lights, check the sink again, and engage with guests to ensure they feel at home.
