Program Details

We’re offering this position mainly for the autumn-winter season when things are a bit quieter. Night shifts are relaxed and easy to learn. We’d love to welcome someone who can stay with us for more than a month—ideally 2 to 3 months—so you can really settle in and enjoy the slower pace compared to the busy summer.

Activities & Shift

We’re looking for someone to cover night reception shifts, usually on quieter days like Sundays, when nights are calm and easygoing. Duties include check-ins, check-outs, selling drinks from the fridge, and cleaning common areas in the morning. We also welcome volunteers who want to help with our regular events, like cooking dinners for guests, game nights, and tours. Your exact tasks will depend on your skills, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

Rules

We ask for a minimum of 25 working hours per week. With prior agreement, it’s possible to arrange several days off in a row so you can explore other parts of Czechia or Central Europe.
After you contact us, please expect a short video call where you can ask any questions about the hostel. We expect all volunteers to be respectful, friendly, and open-minded :).
