Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.

Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Description:
At Bring Hope for Children Tanzania, we aim to make volunteering accessible and impactful. While most of our services are offered freely, we kindly ask volunteers to contribute a small additional fee. This fee is used solely to support and sustain the program.

Intermediate English or Intermediate Swahili
Between 18 and 64 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

The Community Garden, home& Farming Program aims to promote sustainable agriculture, improve nutrition, and empower the community through hands-on gardening and farming activities. Volunteers will assist in planting, maintaining, and harvesting vegetables while engaging children and local residents in agricultural education. Activities & Shift
Main Responsibilities:
Garden Preparation – Clear land, prepare soil, and set up planting areas.
Planting & Maintenance – Sow seeds, water crops, weed, and apply natural fertilizers.
Harvesting & Distribution – Collect produce and assist in delivering it to BHCT programs or community members.
Education – Support sessions teaching children and community members about farming and nutrition.
Record Keeping – Track planting dates, harvest amounts, and crop performance.
