What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 140 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers contribute €140/week, which includes your stay, all meals, airport transfers, local trips & picnics — plus a donation to support our children’s home and community projects.

What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

Join us in empowering young girls in Akuressa, Sri Lanka, through education, hope, and encouragement. In this project, you’ll help girls develop their skills in English, communication, and creative expression while building their confidence to dream of a brighter future.

Many of these girls face challenges that limit their opportunities, and your presence will show them that the world is full of possibilities. Through lessons, mentoring, games, and cultural exchange, you’ll be part of shaping resilient, confident young women who can lead change in their communities.

No formal teaching experience is required — just a caring heart, patience, and the willingness to share your knowledge and story. Together, we can plant seeds of hope that last a lifetime.
