The experience

Join our family-run non-profit in Akuressa, Sri Lanka, and help preschool & primary kids learn through games, songs, art, and basic English. No experience needed — just kindness and energy! What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 175 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers contribute €175/week, covering air-conditioned rooms with king-size beds, all meals, and filtered drinking water. The fee includes airport transfers, local trips and picnics, and a donation to support Akuratatha’s children’s home and community projects. This ensures comfort, cultural experiences, and meaningful impact during your stay.

Intermediate English or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 80 years old
