I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel! As my first volunteering experience, it couldn't have been a better start. The hostel has a great location, a beautiful house, and a super social atmosphere with fun daily activities. The staff welcomed me warmly, and my work was always appreciated. Erick and Manuel were especially kind — we shared great moments, and their support (including Spanish lessons!) helped me a lot. the hostel is definitely a place I'll look back on with a smile😁 and hopefully come back to one day. I can fully recommend this place to any future volunteer!

It was a short but great experience. The team is very welcome, they made me feel like home and even spend my birthday with me :) Erik and Jesus are very friendly and sociable guys. I would definitely recommend the project!

First volunteering I did and it was a great experience, I quickly became friends with all the people working in the hostel, nice environment and the staff explained everything in detail Would defo recommend and I hope to come back and visit my friends Gracias :)

My experience volunteering at the hostel couldn't have been better. During the night shifts, I had the chance to learn bartending while chatting with guests and practicing Spanish with the bartender, Juan. All of the staff are incredibly kind—especially the manager, Jesús, who is always willing to help with anything, and the receptionist, Maricel, who made me feel so welcome. I'm already missing you all! 🫶

I spend 2 weeks at the hostel, working at the bar with Juan and it was a great experience ! Really fun and easy to learn, you get the chance to meet a lot of people from everywhere in the world and share talks, games and activities with them. I highly recommend this expérience, the whole team of the hostel is great ans friendly. Thank you for everything !☀️

I really loved my stay at the hostel, and can 100% recommend volunteering there! The people who work there are absolutely amazing, kind and caring. You'll feel like a part of the family. Also, you'll meet people from all over the world. I was volunteering in the bar, working 17.00-22.00 5 times a week, and I really loved it. The training is good and you get a lot of help if you're wondering about anything. Most of my stay we were two volunteers, and we shared a dorm with a bunk bed and a shared closet. If I ever return to Arequipa I will stay here some nights for sure!🥰

Volunteering at the hostel was such a rewarding experience. From the start, the work was clearly explained and well communicated, which made settling in really easy. A big shout out to Juan, who patiently showed me the ropes behind the bar. Jesus did a fantastic job managing the volunteers. He was flexible when I needed to make changes to my travel plans and always made sure expectations were clear. Working on the bar with Erick and Manuel was great. Not only did they improve my Spanish speaking skills but they were super open to ideas and made me feel like part of the hostel family.

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel!! The staff are so kind and welcoming. I had some Spanish lessons with Manuel during my stay, he was an amazing teacher and even gave me a volunteer discount. I was helping with the breakfast, so I had each afternoon free to explore the city. The work was easy and there were lots of opportunities to chat with the guests. The only challenge was when the breakfast options were a little limited, and sometimes guests would complain to me. There are always only 1 or 2 volunteers, so often I needed to rely on the hostel guests to make friends.
