The experience

As a volunteer, you will assist our local staff in caring for children at our daycare center or primary school. Your tasks may include:

Playing games and organizing fun activities

Helping with basic English learning through songs and stories

You don’t need to be a professional teacher — just bring patience, creativity, and a love for children!


What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Elderly Care: Assisting and spending time with the elderly.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

Our project focuses on education, youth empowerment, and cultural exchange. We work closely with local schools, families, and community groups to create meaningful learning experiences — both for our students and for the international volunteers who join us.

As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute in many ways: from teaching English, supporting children at school, helping with farming or construction, to sharing your creative or digital skills. No matter your background, we believe every volunteer has something valuable to offer.


Activities & Shift

Organizing games, art, music, and sports for children

Supporting childcare and early education activities

Helping with community events or youth workshops

Assisting with gardening, light construction, or cleaning (optional)

Helping with social media, photography, or content creation (if interested)


Rules

Respect Local Culture: Please be open-minded and respectful of Tanzanian customs, traditions, and beliefs.

Follow the Schedule: Volunteers are expected to attend activities as planned (4–5 hours/day, Monday to Friday) unless otherwise discussed.

Inform Before Traveling: If you plan to travel or be absent from the project, please inform us in advance.

Dress Modestly: Especially at school or in the community — clothing should be respectful (no short shorts or revealing tops).

No Drugs or Alcohol on Site: Use of drugs and alcohol is strictly prohibited at the accommodation and project areas.

Maintain Cleanliness: Keep your room and shared spaces tidy; everyone is responsible for maintaining a clean living space.
