Join our Half Acre permaculture project located in the heart of Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh — a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning temples and rich traditions.

Whether you’re a beginner wanting to learn or someone with skills to share, your time here will contribute to a greener, self-sufficient future.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 65 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

(Optional) Experienced in permaculture, organic farming, or eco-project design


Activities & Shift

Your tasks may include:

-Planting, weeding, and maintaining the garden 🌾
-Designing and improving the permaculture layout
-Composting and soil care
-Building small eco-projects or farm structures
-Sharing farming knowledge and ideas with the team

Schedule:

Around 20 hours per week
2 days off to explore Khajuraho’s temples, markets, and surrounding nature 🏞️
