We’re looking for an enthusiastic, social, and creative volunteer to help organize and promote fun, social, and cultural activities for our guests. 🌎✨
Your mission? Bring people together, create unforgettable moments, and make our space the place to be in Flores.

You’ll be the heartbeat of our events, from casual sunset sessions to lively theme nights, helping travelers connect, laugh, and share stories by the beautiful Lake Petén Itzá 🌊

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish or Intermediate English

Between 20 and 30 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

As our Event Promoter Volunteer, you’ll:

-Promote daily and weekly events (sunset sessions, bar nights, games, etc.) 🥳
-Create excitement among guests and encourage participation
-Organize and host activities like karaoke, trivia, game nights, workshops, and more 🎤
-Support marketing with photos, videos, and social media content 📸
-Help plan new events and collaborations with local artists and businesses 🎨
-Foster a friendly, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all 🌍

Activities & Shift

Around 30 hours per week

2 days off to explore Flores and its surroundings

Most shifts happen in the afternoon/evening, depending on the events calendar

Flexible scheduling based on upcoming activities and your skills

Keep It Clean – Maintain common areas tidy, especially after events 🧹

No Alcohol or Drugs During Shifts – Stay professional while on duty 🚫🍺

Good Presentation – Maintain proper hygiene and appearance 👕

Team Spirit – Work closely with staff and other volunteers 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

Follow House Rules – Including quiet hours and visitor policies 🏠

Commitment – Honor your agreed stay or notify in advance if plans change 📅
