The experience

Join us at our farmhouse in Arusha, Tanzania, for an exciting agriculture and animal-keeping project! Help cultivate sustainable crops, learn traditional farming techniques, and care for livestock like cows, chickens, pigs. Gain hands-on experience, connect with local communities, and contribute to food security while enjoying the beauty of rural Tanzania. No prior experience needed just a passion for growth and teamwork!


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 15 Per day

Description: The fee will cover accommodation and three meals that you will be provided at the host family.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

This project runs all year round so you can choose to volunteer when it suits your schedule. We encourage you to stay longer for minimum of two weeks, so you can do more and watch how you have brought an impact to the project. The work you'll be associated with will be under the guide of our local assistant, daily. you can do a lot but this depends on the amount of the funds we have collected for the project.

Things that are most likely done by volunteers are;

-Planting and taking care of vegetables
-Animal feeding eg.cows, pigs and dogs
-Milking the cows


Activities & Shift

On week days the volunteering time is as describe 5-6 hours from morning to afternoon in 5 days of the week.
As said before no experience need just passion and a little bit of hard work that's all you need
