The experience

Our NGO, Peace for Conservation, is in the early phases of setting up a Soccer Academy for children from rural areas around the western corridor of the Serengeti. We need some help with setting up online funding platforms and writing applications for funding, so we can see our project progress and realise our goals of livelihood improvement in the areas where human-wildlife conflict is prominent.

Rules

We welcome our volunteers into our home as guests and treat them like family. We ask for respect and tolerance towards our staff, and that volunteers embrace the cultural differences as we do too, so that the time spent in Tanzania is a fun experience to remember.

We will provide an on-site introduction to the culture and social norms, and take care that volunteers understand how to act and what not to do in order to ensure the visit is safe and enjoyable. We have had brilliant experiences with all kinds of travellers, including solo female travellers, who have felt comfortable and safe during their stay and want to keep it that way.
