Booking-Airbnb assistant/manager
The experience
You would be assisting our manager with Booking com and Airbnb housekeeping and customer service. If the manager decides to go at some point, the manager job would be available for you.
We are hoping to find a person who would like to spend at least 3 months here but we start with a trial period of 1 month.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Administration:
Help with booking systems and payments.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Events:
Get free entrance for the best events in town.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.
Yoga classes:
Take free yoga classes at our place.
Dance classes:
Take free dance classes at our place.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Fluent English
Over 24 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
It's good to know that working here, often you have to have initiative in tasks, managing your own time, and being flexible in taking into consideration priorities and needs of the center. Even though many amazing retreats are held here, everyday work life probably doesn't feel like being on a retreat or in a yoga heaven :) A lot of the work has to do with assisting in "behind the scenes" stuff like house keeping and fixing.
Activities & Shift
If there there's no or just a little work with booking or airbnb because of off-season, you will help with the basic work such as:
- Housekeeping (cleaning & laundry)
- Photography & social medias
- Marketing
- Gardening in spring/summer/autumn
- Cooking for the volunteer team
- Hosting and helping in the kitchen during retreats, events and workshops
- Building & renovating the spaces
- Painting (walls, but also creative murals if you have the skills)
- Fixing, decorating and doing maintenance
- Interior design
Tell us if you have any specific skills that could be useful to a place like ours! We would love to host someone with good skills in various handy tasks like carpentry and general fixing tasks.
Rules
No drugs allowed and alcohol in moderation.
We communicate a lot about the tasks via Whatsapp, so it is important that you can use your phone and respond to messages while you work.
