A friend and I volunteered at the camping for 3 weeks and it was like no other experience I've had before. The community that gets built at the camping truely turns into a family, the place is so big there's always a party happening or somewhere chill to go relax. The work was fine, some days were hard towards the start setting up tents but there's a big team and you're encouraged to have fun, and it was definitely balanced out by reception shifts genuinely just hanging out. Recommend if your happy to get a bit down and dirty and ready for a fun time that you won't find elsewhere

It was a great experience getting to volunteer at the camping for Oktoberfest. I totally recommend this opportunity if you enjoy meeting new people and partying, because you get to attend Oktoberfest, and you hang out with guests and volunteers at the camping. The working hours were respected, and even if they felt long, the team of volunteers always got things done. I'm gonna miss this place!

I had a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend it If you want to make new international friends, have fun, work and drink beer. Laura is amazing, she was always there whenever someone needed something. It's one in a lifetime experience, we had to work really hard, but also had lots of time for partying and going to Oktoberfest. I made lots of friends that ended up becoming a family. Everyone was super collaborative. We slept in big tents, had clean toilets and hot showers. If you like partying and team work this is the right place to volunteer.

I had an amazing time at the camping ⛺️ you sleep in a big tent with 2-4 other volunteers on a comfy mattress and as many sleeping bags as you want (it gets cold at night). Work is demanding but you usually finish quick (thanks to the amazing team work πŸ™πŸ») the organisation of the camping and the team is better than I experienced working in paid jobs πŸ‘ you have plenty of time to explore Munich and Oktoberfest alone or with your friends/other volunteers. Great place if you enjoy partying, drinking and have a team spirit! The food is simple and usually cooked by the volunteers.

It was an extraordinary experience. I couldn't have had a better team of volunteers for this volunteering, they were all the best, I will never forget them. Laura, the manager, always helped us with everything we needed, she was also the best. The work can be a little tiring but we were always given a great amount of free time and our schedules were respected. I recommend this volunteering 100%, you will meet incredible people from different countries and have a lot of fun at the Oktoberfest!

I had a great time working at the yestrips the camping! All the volunteers were absolutely amazing and we all worked very well as a team. I made heaps of friends I'll have for life. The work can be challenging at times but you're able to take breaks, and I think tasks were assigned pretty fairly. At times there were miscommunications of work and changes of managers, but in the end we were able to work through it. I'd definitely recommend this experience to anyone wanting to have a fun time staying in Munich and attending oktoberfest!

There were many great times shared with the volunteers and I found this to be a great way to experience Oktoberfest frugally. Some days the work was long and tiring but overall it was fine. I do think the volunteers could have been taken care of a bit better - the food options weren't very healthy and often pulled together last minute.

I had the best time at Oktoberfest, and working at the camping was super fun because we had such a great staff. I enjoyed my stay there and I will never forget this experience, but I think the managers could be a little bit more organized and give us a clear agenda. Sometimes it was crazy and I thought I couldn't handle the tasks by myself, but everyone helped each other, that's why they should invite more volunteers. Unfortunately i only spent 6 days at this volunteering, so I definitely recommend staying for 2 weeks so that you can enjoy more Oktoberfest.

I have done 6 work trade experiences in the past and this is the most disappointing one. I was not the only frustrated volunteer there, and was overwhelmed by the lack of organization, flexibility, and leadership. The day I arrived there, I was confused by the lack of adequate food (no fruits and vegetables, just bread and pasta and some tomato sauce) for over 10 volunteers who were expected to work 8 or more hours a day and sleep in shared tents. When addressing our concerns, the managing team was confused and slow to come up with a definitive answer to solve the issues.
