We provide a warm welcome with a short orientation to introduce you to the school, classroom routines, and subjects you can support. On weekends, you’ll have time to explore our beautiful surroundings, meet local families, and immerse yourself in Ugandan culture. ❤️
Each weekday, your day will look something like this:
🕢 7:30 AM – Wake up and enjoy breakfast at your accommodation
🚌 8:00 AM – Head to the school
🏫 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM – Support classes, interact with students, and assist teachers
🍽️ Breaks include:
– 10:00 AM: Tea break with students and staff
– 1:00 PM: Lunch at school
🚶 4:30 PM – Return to your accommodation
You’ll help for around 6 hours per day, mostly during the morning and early afternoon. Your support might include assisting in subjects like English, math, science, arts, or life skills—depending on your comfort and the school’s needs.
