Join us in Uganda and be part of a grassroots movement focused on tree planting, establishing nursery beds, teaching environmental education in schools, and promoting cultural exchange.

What you offer
4 hours of help per day
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

We are a locally-led environmental initiative rooted in climate action, education, and community empowerment. Founded in 2024, our mission is to restore degraded ecosystems across Uganda through:

Our founder, a Ugandan environmentalist and climate change activist, created this project out of love for the planet and concern for future generations. We work directly with schools, youth groups, and local farmers, creating real, measurable impact across several districts.
Activities & Shift
As a volunteer, youβll join our daily activities including:

Tree planting and maintenance

Establishing and managing tree nurseries

Teaching environmental topics in local schools

Assisting with gardening or light farming tasks
β
Supporting climate awareness sessions
β
Engaging with youth and children through educational activities
Schedule:
β° 4 hours/day
π 6 days/week
πΏ 1 free day for rest and exploration
Youβll also have personal time to explore the local area and connect with the community.
Rules
π± Volunteers should be passionate about the environment and comfortable working in semi-rural areas.
π Open to people aged 18 to 85, regardless of nationality, gender, religion, or background.
π§ Must be comfortable working with children and youth, as most of our work takes place in schools.
π« You may teach in schools independently, guided by a local teaching coordinator.
πΆ A small fee of β¬5/day helps cover meals, accommodation, and project costs (seeds, tools, transportation, etc.). Contributions beyond this are welcome and help us build our permanent home base.
π€ Volunteers should be adaptable, open-minded, and respectful of local customs.
π¬π§ Basic English is required to communicate with staff and students.
