The experience

I'm Floris I'm 23 and I bought a historical villa on the Italian Riviera. I've always been passionate about history and architecture, and now I'm able to start my first restoration project, to preserve a piece of history.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent Dutch or Fluent English

Between 18 and 24 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

You get a private bedroom with a shared large bathroom. You are expected to clean up after yourself. Apart from that, there is plenty of time for fun. There are many hikes close by, there is also a large train station one town over which goes directly to Genova, Milan, Turin, and the general coast (Portofino, Cinque terre).

Activities & Shift

You will be painting and cleaning the old staff quarters of the villa, on the top floor. They haven't been touched in a while, so there's alot of dust.

No Alcohol consumption inside the house
Quiet after 10pm
