Join a meaningful project in Mbale, where we support vulnerable and disadvantaged children through education, care, and creativity. At our nonprofit school, we believe every child deserves a joyful, safe, and hopeful future โ€” and you can help us make it happen.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

Youโ€™ll be part of a dynamic team at a community-driven foundation working to uplift children through a mix of educational and creative activities. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own energy, ideas, and passions!

Your support will directly help children grow emotionally, socially, and academically. No formal teaching experience is required โ€” just kindness, enthusiasm, and a desire to connect ๐Ÿ’ซ


Activities & Shift

Youโ€™ll collaborate with local staff and engage with children through diverse and fun tasks, such as:

๐ŸŽจ Arts & crafts: drawing, painting, bead-making
๐Ÿ“– Storytelling, reading sessions & homework help
๐ŸŽญ Music, dance, and drama workshops
โšฝ Organizing games, sports & mini-tournaments
๐Ÿงผ Hygiene & health education through creative activities
๐ŸŒ Leading field trips or cultural exchanges
๐ŸŽค Hosting talent shows, birthday parties or community events
โœ๏ธ Creating classroom materials or supporting basic teaching (literacy, math, life skills)
๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ Shadowing caregivers or offering training on child development
