The experience

Join the Cultural Association in Argentiera, a former mining village in Northern Sardinia, where art, architecture, and community come together to regenerate abandoned places through creativity and collaboration.
As a volunteer, you’ll support the daily life of our space and help maintain the site where many cultural and artistic projects take place.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner Italian or Beginner English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

As a volunteer your tasks could include:

- Cleaning common areas, rooms, dishes and linen

- Taking out the trash

- Watering plants and tidying up the garden

- Assisting with light construction (e.g. carrying wood and tools, helping with small builds)

- Running errands or grocery shopping

Activities & Shift

5 hours a day that can be arranged according to personal preferences. For example: if you prefer to work only in the morning or in the evening.

Rules

No pets allowed, we already have our cat Benny with us!
No smoking in the rooms and closed spaces.
