The experience

We need someone who can mix concrete and lay blocks. If you can also do carpentry and plumbing that will be even more helpful. Help us as we construct more rooms on our Guest House.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Jamaica

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We will provide you a room to stay in and breakfast and dinner. We will give you discounts on drinks from our establishment. We will show you the places of interest. In return you will carry out construction work on our property. We are currently building extra rooms and need help. We want someone who knows how to lay concrete blocks and do carpentry.

Activities & Shift

You can work for about 5 hours per day with two days off.
