The experience

Join us in Mayuge, Uganda, where we're working every day to improve the lives of children, youth, women, and people with disabilities through education, empowerment, and compassion. 🌱✨
As a volunteer, you'll become part of a meaningful community project that combines teaching, creative activities, and support programs.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

🏠 Accommodation
You’ll stay in our volunteer home, which includes:
4 bedrooms, kitchen, and a living area
A large, safe compound with 24/7 security and a friendly dog 🐶
No accommodation fees required 💸❌


🚐 Transport
We offer free pickup from local bus stations.
Airport pickups from Entebbe are available — volunteers only cover fuel costs.


Activities & Shift

Volunteers typically help 3–4 hours per day, 5 days per week, leaving you plenty of time to rest or explore the area. Tasks may include:

👩‍🏫 Education Support

Assisting teachers in under-resourced schools
Teaching English or creative subjects
Organizing sports, games, or talent shows
Helping cook or serve meals for students

👧 Girl Empowerment Program

Teaching menstrual health and hygiene
Providing emotional support and mentorship

👩‍🔧 Women’s Business Program

Teaching basic business skills
Leading practical workshops (soap making, brick laying, jewelry, pastries, etc.)
Helping with graduation and certificate ceremonies 🎓

♿ Disability Support Program

Assisting in physical therapy sessions
Helping with family outreach visits
Supporting with hygiene and food donations
