Free Italian school in Southern Italy
The experience
I can host one student in exchange for help with the housework, preferably female, who is willing to commit to a long-term Italian course (about 9 months from Nov 2025 to June 2026). The course will be held at Enrico De Nicola State School in Castrovillari (CS), at a biking distance from the accommodation I offer. Program Details
In addition to attending school, you can practice your Italian with me. I'm an intellectual, a poet, and a writer, also interested in foreign languages and language exchange. I'm also an artist, musician, and illustrator. PS: I don't like television and don't have one, but like cinema.
Activities & Shift
The courses are for adults and are held in the afternoons at the public school three days a week. Students can start at any level, including basic, without any prior knowledge of the language. Exams will be held in mid-June 2026, and a certificate of acquired skills will be issued.
Rules
You will need to take up residency to be issued a student visa. You cannot smoke indoors, drink alcohol excessively, or take drugs. I am looking for a motivated student, interested in completing the school year and obtaining the language certification, who does not interrupt her studies. Registration opens mid-September. If necessary, you can come earlier.
