The hostel may be one of the greatest places on this earth the volunteering and work was much like any other opportunity, but the owners Val and Pascal may be a pair of the greatest people I have ever met and what they do for the community is phenomenal, besides that the volunteer managers of blue and Steph at exceptional and so accomodating and you can see they have real love for the hostel and the island itself I cannot recommend this opportunity enough and wish I could of stayed forever!

I had a brilliant experience at the hostel! I really felt welcome and part of the team. Blue (manager) was amazing! So patient, funny and a pleasure to be around; super inspiring woman. The work was chilled and super fun in the evenings. The hostel itself has a cosy feel and you can tell a lot of love from owners Valerie and Pascal has gone into it which makes it a lovely environment to work in. This job really helped to boost my confidence and temporarily reestablish some sort of purpose in my life whilst travelling. Would highly recommend it! I would go back in a heartbeat!

I had the best time vonlunteering at the hostel! I met amazing people there and had so much fun. The staff was so welcoming and felt like family, it truly is home away from home ❤️ Working at the reception/bar was really fun and I still had plenty of time to explore the island! I learned so much there. Would recommend 1000%!!

Spent here all month and I can't complain! Valerie and the rest of the team are very warm, welcoming, sociable, always making sure that you are feeling ok and understand everything. There's nothing that the team can't arrange for you or help you dealing with. Pretty much every night is something happening, from pool tournament, to movies night or trivia night, with all the shifts being 5h, but very easy to handle and many times having colleagues to help you if you can't keep up (but that happens very rarely)

The hostel means home. I spent my time surrounded by wonderful people in a wonderful place, where volunteers, guests and owners created with their good vibes a magical place, a beautiful family. I'm really happy to have been part of this. As my first volunteering experience, I can't be happier. Thank you for everything, and see you very soon!!!

Amazing place, wonderful hosts and the best team of volunteers! the hostel Jungle Hostel is the best place to stay, meet travelers from around the world and gain amazing experience working at a hostel. The work is fair and working hours are respected. All the volunteers are flexible if any plans change, which is amazing. Working behind the bar and at reception allowed me to connect with guests and gain valuable skills. And there's so much to do in Koh Tao! I'd like to thank everyone, Valerie and Pascal, my fellow volunteers and the best guests for making my stay at the hostel so wonderful!

What an incredible experience to volunteer at the hostel! Work consisted of checking in and out guests and working behind the bar. The view from where you work is UNREAL! I met so many amazing people and created such special friendships! There is lots to of time to explore Koh Tao and all the island has to offer! The accommodation is amazing and the beds are super comfortable! I would highly recommend this experience!!

Volunteering at the hostel Jungle Hostel was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences of my life. The atmosphere at the hostel is just magical – it's a place with a truly unique vibe that you can't find anywhere else. Val, the host, is incredible. Not only is she flexible and understanding, but she also encourages everyone to share their passions, making you feel valued and appreciated. It genuinely felt like a second home to me, a cozy family environment where I got to meet guests from all corners of the globe. I couldn't recommend it more!
