The experience

Join our small family-run hotel in the charming town of Smederevo, just 48 km from Belgrade! Known for its impressive medieval fortress, river promenade, and relaxed local atmosphere, Smederevo is a peaceful place to enjoy while helping us keep our space warm and welcoming for guests.

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable volunteer to help with room cleaning and greeting guests. No booking or admin tasks — we take care of that! 😊

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 20 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

💼Your main tasks will include:

Cleaning rooms and common areas
Changing bed linens and doing laundry
Welcoming guests and assisting with check-in/check-out (no system work needed!)

Activities & Shift

You'll help 5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with two days off to relax or explore.
Typical shifts are:
8:00–13:00
13:00–18:00
18:00–23:00
