The experience

Free accommodation in 4/6-bed shared dormitory. Female only rooms available.

We are a 100 bed hostel in St Kilda looking for a housekeeper. Tasks include cleaning rooms, kitchen, bathrooms and common areas. Occasional extra tasks such as running hostel events could be required.

Would suit someone who is available some nights 6-9pm and weekends 8am-2pm.

Apply in you are already in Melbourne (or arriving next week).

What you offer

12 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Program Details

In exchange for 12 hours work each week you will get to stay at our hostel for free!

What is included?
Bed in a shared dorm room (4-6 bed dorm). Access to bathrooms, kitchen and living room plus access to hostel facilities (laundry, courtyard etc).

Fresh linen and blankets, individual bed light and a personal fan for comfort, privacy curtains around each bed for added privacy, individual power outlets for charging your devices, access to shared bathrooms and communal kitchen and free Wi-Fi available throughout the hostel.

Activities & Shift

Cleaning of common areas, kitchen and bathrooms required. Occasional cooking and hosting events.

Rules

Minimum 1 month commitment. You need to be reliable, hard working and punctual.
