Join a heartwarming community initiative focused on empowering children through early childhood education, creative expression, and safe play. As a volunteer, you’ll support our daycare’s mission to nurture children aged 2 to 6, helping them grow with confidence, joy, and curiosity🌞

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: This small contribution helps us offer you daily meals, a safe place to stay, and the materials needed for meaningful activities. It also supports the growth of our project — so every dollar you give makes a difference 🌱✨


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English or Intermediate Swahili

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

As a volunteer, you’ll assist our caregivers and teachers in the day-to-day activities of our community daycare. Whether you’re guiding a drawing session, reading a story, or playing outdoor games, your time and energy will have a direct and meaningful impact.

Your main tasks may include:

Supporting basic learning activities (letters, numbers, English, drawing)
Organizing games, songs, and creative play
Helping with snacks, meals, and nap time routines
Assisting with class preparation and cleanup
Joining walks or outdoor play in the neighborhood
Sharing your culture, language, or personal skills with the kids

You'll be working alongside:
👩‍⚕️ 3 trained caregivers/nurses
🤝 2 assistant staff
👨‍💼 The founder and program manager

This is a great opportunity for volunteers interested in childcare, early education, cultural immersion, and community-building.

Schedule
📅 Monday to Friday
🕘 Approx. 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Evenings and weekends are free to explore or rest.

In your free time, you can:

Explore local markets and cultural sites
Relax at nearby beaches
Join local events or safaris
Meet other travelers and locals
