We’re looking for volunteers to help with simple cleaning and general maintenance tasks at the hostel. It’s light work, with flexible hours and plenty of free time to enjoy the city.

What you offer

28 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Between 18 and 35 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We offer a volunteering experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where respect, teamwork, and a good vibe are priorities. Volunteers help with basic cleaning and maintenance tasks while having free time to enjoy Cancún and meet people from all over the world.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers work 4 days per week, 7 hours per day, with 3 consecutive or rotating days off. Tasks include cleaning common areas, kitchen, terraces, rooms, supporting basic maintenance, and organizing spaces.

Rules

No drug use, no physical or verbal violence, and no disrespect are allowed. Punctuality, good coexistence, and respect for fellow volunteers, guests, and hostel rules are expected. The atmosphere must remain positive, safe, and cooperative.
