Jerry is a kind host who made me feel welcome in his home. My experience here was unforgettable. I met some amazing local people and foreign the host instructors, and honestly had so much fun some days I just stayed on the boat all day with them snorkelling and filming content (my job was to post one video a day to myIG) I love the ocean, I learnt so much from the locals about sea life but also saw SO much since most of the time I was on the boat even just snorkelling. Big up to Nanu and Nazal!! ❤️ Truly unique experience on a local island, something you don't get in resorts or guest houses 🥰

I spent 10 days volunteering at Jerry's the host and I truly had the best time! The snorkeling and diving was simply superb. The water was warm and crystal clear. On each and every outing I got to explore the most beautiful underwater world. I saw and swam with countless sharks, turtles and eagle rays! What an unforgettable experience! The team is sociable, amusing and has lots of experience. They will guide you step by step and show you around all the best sites. The accommodation is spacious and clean, plus the work is a piece of cake. If you love the ocean, you are going to love this!

My experience at Jerry's the host was the best; I feel very fortunate to have been part of this volunteer program. Every day I was in contact with what I love—the ocean and nature—creating daily content for the center's social media and contributing to its presence on digital platforms. The team was incredible; I felt like I became part of the family, and communication with Jerry was always clear and simple. He is a very charismatic, calm, and smiling man. Thank you.

I spent a week in this volunteer program and it was an experience I will never forget. The team was super friendly, fun and always willing to help. The best was being in the water diving and snorkeling almost every day, seeing turtles, rays and colorful fish. If you like the ocean and want to experience something different, this is the place.

I volunteerd at Jerry's the host in Rasdhoo with two friends and we had such a fantastic experience from start to finish. The whole crew is wonderful and made us feel right at home. Special thanks to Paloma, the best instructor, and to Naazal, also amazing – both of them guided us perfectly. We were lucky enough to see incredible marine life while diving, enjoyed snorkeling every single day, and even stayed at the instructors' house, which was a lovely and welcoming experience. And of course, their adorable cats made everything even more special!

Volunteering at Jerry's the host in Rashdoo was an amazing experience. The team is professional, welcoming, and passionate about diving and marine life. I learned a lot, felt supported the whole time, and truly enjoyed being part of the club. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn, contribute, and enjoy the ocean.

The good: location, accommodation and amenities. The cats The bad: lack of communication, guidance and community. my good intentions faded due to inconsistency poor communication. the absence of community was (for me) quite big. regardless of that: the host school in my experience is very good. I would go back as client, for approximately 1 week, rather than 2 weeks as volunteer

I loved my time at the host, the entire team made me feel welcome and were so kind. There was a miscommunication though on behalf of what the exchange would consist of. When I was leaving the host, I was charged 50% of the dives I did even though no one informed me that. I thought it would be social media in exchange for free dives. I would just double check with Jerry on the agreement you both have set in place for the exchange. Other than that, I had an incredible time diving and getting to know the staff.

We didn't have the best start due to misunderstandings around the cost of the programme and what was expected from us on social media. (We were told to produce 4 reels before we left, thinking this was for the Jerry's account, however we were also expected to post daily on our personal account - this was fine, just not communicated). The misunderstanding led to some some agreessive messages from Jerry which made us uncomfortable for the first part of the trip. Once this blew over we really enjoyed it. The diving and snorkeling was incredible!! Overall, very grateful for the opportunity.
