The experience

Hello! I'm Lincy — born in Kerala, trained as an engineer, and passionate about travel, nature, and sustainable living.

I run a 6-acre farm in the peaceful village of Panagattiri, where we follow natural farming methods. Our land is filled with mango trees, coconuts, local herbs, and a few gentle cows 🐄.

We’re looking for kind, curious volunteers to help us make the farm even more vibrant and regenerative🌿

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 6 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: We ask for a small contribution of $6 USD per day to help cover the basic costs of your stay — including farming equipment, maintenance, and accommodation.


What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner French

Between 20 and 70 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

This is the perfect place if you’re looking to slow down, reconnect with nature, and be part of a calm, rural rhythm!!

As a volunteer, you’ll dive into Kerala’s farming lifestyle while enjoying meaningful work and plenty of time to explore. You can:

Learn natural farming practices like mulching and composting (jeevamruth)
Take care of cows and help with planting and watering
Enjoy peaceful hikes to a nearby hill with 360° views — ideal for meditation 🌄
Experience local culture, festivals, and village life
Help design seasonal activities, create gardens, or support small DIY projects

We also offer Wi-Fi, so you're welcome to work remotely in your free time. Our farm is not commercial — it’s a labor of love meant to nourish us, our animals, and our friends in the village.


🍛 Food & Accommodation
🥣 Breakfast provided — Kerala-style: puttu & kadala, dosa, idli, etc.
🥛 Fresh milk from our cows daily (for tea or coffee)
🍽️ Lunch & dinner — you can cook or order from our farm caretaker (home-style meals at low cost)
🛏️ There may be other volunteers around, but you get private accommodation.

Activities & Shift

⏰ Daily contribution:

Normally 2–3 hours per day, split between morning and evening
During key seasonal tasks (e.g., mango harvest), up to 3–4 hours/day

🌿 General tasks include:

Mulching, composting (jeevamruth), watering, planting
Collecting coconuts or helping during mango season (April–June)
Guiding occasional farm guests
Taking care of cows

🔧 Special projects (July–September):

Build a butterfly garden 🦋
Start a vegetable patch (bananas, local greens, etc.)
Simple bamboo DIY projects
Renovate a room for future volunteers
Design a fun “Mango Plucking Experience” for visitors


Rules

💰 Contribution: $6 USD/day (₹500) — this helps cover meals, maintenance & care for our cows.
💚 If you're unable to pay, please reach out — we’re flexible and open to solutions.

You can play music or instruments 🎶 but keep the peace
Please adhere to proper dress code, this is a small village in Kerala
If any issues happens it will be done as per the judiciary demands
