Calling on those who want to make a difference!
The experience
We want to share a socio-cultural project that welcomes everyone — individuals, friends, and couples — who understand that the world, as it is today, needs to change. There is a lot of work ahead. From scratch, we want to build a refuge where we can host and welcome people who want to make a positive change for this planet, care for it, improve it, and respect it.
A big hug to everyone from Villaquitaroquita.

A different kind of place, for a different kind of world.
We are a couple building our home from scratch, and with it, creating the foundation for a beautiful socio-cultural project. Our house — still under construction — will become a small refuge for those who believe we can make this world a better place through collaboration, care, and respect for nature.
We’d love to invite people who are curious, motivated, and open-hearted to join us in this journey. Whether you're an individual, a couple, or a group of friends — you’re welcome here.
We're located in Spain, in a peaceful natural setting — and this is where you come in.
If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.
Activities & Shift
We usually work in the mornings and again in the late afternoon (because the midday heat is strong!). The classic Spanish siesta after lunch is sacred — and very much part of our rhythm.
Activities include:
Breaking, smoothing, and painting walls
Bringing soil and clearing grass
Sharing knowledge about building, trees, and plants.
Offering ideas to help improve and complete the space
Some experience needed — just a willingness to learn, help, and share. Although we live in the countryside, we’re still learning a lot ourselves, with the help of neighbors and the wonderful people we’ve met so far.
Rules
To ensure a good experience for everyone, here are a few simple rules we ask all volunteers to follow:
Respect the space – Treat the land, tools, and home as if they were your own.
Positive attitude – We value kindness, communication, and the desire to work together.
Cleanliness matters – Please help keep common areas tidy and respect shared spaces.
No drugs or heavy alcohol use – We want to keep the atmosphere safe, focused, and peaceful.
Take initiative – If you see something that needs doing, go for it or ask how you can help.
Honor quiet hours – Especially at night, we value rest and silence for all.
Bring your uniqueness – Skills, music, stories, food, or just your company — we love when people share.
