🌟 We're looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to help us keep the guest experience smooth and welcoming! While our staff is available most of the day, we’d love your support on their days off and when the hostel is without staff assisting with light tasks, being present for guests, and helping maintain a great atmosphere at the property. If you’re proactive and enjoy being around people, we’d love to have you on board! 😊💼✨
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Party Promoter:
Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Requirements
Intermediate English
Between 20 and 45 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
Be from outside Albania

Program Details
You will be part of our hostel team at Tirana Lemon Breeze Hostel, a cozy traditional house with a social and relaxed atmosphere.
This is a hybrid transition phase: we currently have a cleaner and a receptionist, and volunteers support daily operations and social activities. Our goal is to gradually implement a volunteer-based system while maintaining high standards.
As a volunteer, your main role is to:
-Support breakfast preparation
-Help with light maintenance of common areas
-Assist at reception during the morning shift
-Create social energy and organize activities
-Help guests connect with each other
You are not responsible for financial operations, bookings, or deep cleaning of rooms.
We value responsibility, communication, and positive energy.
Activities & Shift
You will work in one of two rotating shifts (roles change weekly).
🟢 Morning Operations Shift (07:00 – 13:00)
• 07:00–09:00 – Breakfast preparation
• 09:00–11:00 – Light maintenance (common areas only)
• 11:00–13:00 – Reception support and guest interaction
Tasks include:
-Preparing breakfast according to daily menu
-Keeping kitchen and courtyard tidy
-Welcoming guests and explaining hostel rules
-Promoting weekly activities
-Reporting supply shortages
-Deep cleaning, laundry and bed-making are handled by our cleaner.
Payments and invoices are handled by the receptionist.
🔵 Social & Experience Shift (13:00 – 19:00)
• Social interaction with guests
• Organizing card games, chess, group activities
• Daily Tirana mini-walking tour (with script provided)
• Tuesday: organize movie poll + download film
• Wednesday 20:00 – Movie Night
• Sunday 20:00 – BBQ Night
On event days, shift may extend until 21:30 (next day lighter schedule).
Rules
-Respect working hours.
-No involvement in payments or financial matters.
-No private parties without permission.
-No alcohol during working hours.
-Inform management immediately in case of conflict or emergency.
-Keep communication professional with guests.
-Maintain hygiene standards in kitchen and common areas.
-Be proactive: if you see something that needs attention, fix it or report it.
