The experience

"Bella stagione" for us is the beautiful season from March to October! In our farm is a busy and vibrant time: every activity is going to grow until summer and then it will become slow and slow until the relax of the winter days...but before we have to harvest grapes and olives!
We offer accommodation in tents, giving you the chance to fully experience farm life and at the same time, enjoy everything the beautiful city of Florence has to offer!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We have ponies, a donkey, goats, sheeps, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, beautiful guardian dogs, a vegetable garden and fruit trees. We have to know them and maintain the wellbeing of everyone, enjoy the contact with them, harvest vegetables and fruits and take care of the garden! We also will learn to build fences and sheds, how to keep the farm clean, learn to cook together!

Activities & Shift

Usually we have activities together from 8 to 13 then we have lunch and free time until next morning! If someone wants is possible to organise the activities in different moments because animals have to eat many times a day and sometimes is better to watering the plants at late evening!

Rules

The bathrooms, the showers, the kitchen and other areas are shared so everyone has to take care at best, also because usually we have guests visiting the farm, school classes, families or even parties! So is important to not leave anything personal in shared areas except for food inside the farm! The tents are personal space, but they will host new people soon, so they have to be clean at the end of the stay. We always provide clean bed and pillow covers and we clean the mattress. I don't live at the farm so usually I will not share breakfast or dinner with you but for lunch we'll be together!
