The hostel is really like a family. Everyone was smiling and happy to help. I loved teaching the yoga classes and seeing the people relaxed and smiling at the end of the class. I feel like this experience was a gain for all of us. I have grown and improved and also gave something back. I hope to come back here some other time! :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it couldn't have been better! the hostel and staff are amazing—I felt at home right away. I taught yoga for 1 hour a day and had plenty of time to explore and make friends (one of the most social hostels I've been to!). Classes were in a peaceful garden in the heart of the old town, with space for about 15 guests. the hostel is super clean, spacious, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. Communication was smooth and the team so friendly. Thank you for everything—I already miss the hostel and the hostel Family!

Truly an unforgettable experience. the hostel is like a family. My time here had been truly wonderful. Teaching yoga here has helped me improve so much and allowed me the freedom to believe in myself. I an super grateful and would love an opportunity to visit the hostel family in the future. His yoga classes were incredible, and our guests absolutely loved them! Beyond that, he fit right in with our team and guests, bringing such a positive energy to The Yard. The hostel is more than just a hostel. It's a family that I was so fortunate to be a part of. The staff was so kind and the owners (The Soms) make the hostel feel like a 2nd home. Grateful I got to be there for the 10 year anniversary celebration, meeting so many amazing people from around the world and hearing the stories about the hostel. The night shift was super easy and I enjoyed meeting locals and travelers every shift! It is in a great location, walking distance to almost everything in the old city. I would recommend this place 1000%. I will cherish the memories I made there forever ❤️

I don't have enough words to describe what I experienced during my six weeks volunteering at the hostel! It's an incredible place, with a local team that welcomes you with so much love and kindness. I feel truly rich for having had the opportunity to work and learn alongside these amazing women. You taught me so much every single day—the Anne from six weeks ago no longer exists; I am a much better person now! Thank you for everything 💕I recommend this volunteering experience! On top of having an amazing team, the work was very fair, and you have plenty of free time to explore the city. THANKS

I had an amazing time at the hostel! I've volunteered at the hostel branch and came back to the hostel location this time. Som & Som & the hostel family always make my stay enjoyable and I love volunteering as a yoga teacher! I am always able to connect with the locals and other backpackers! I hope to be back again!!

So far the best volunteer experience I've had. The entire staff was wonderful, the entire hostel worked very well, great and new facilities, bathrooms, mattresses, very well balanced scale and great location. I'll be back as a guest soon!! Thank youuuu 🤍

I was lucky enough to be the first volunteer in the hostel and it was amazing. I first helped out a little bit with the opening and then I did the night reception. I worked from 7pm to 1am, 5 nights with 2 days off. I got my planning in advance so I could enjoy and organized my days off. The team is just wonderful, like family. And the place is really nice as well. It's like a oasis in the middle of the city. Everything fells like home. I meet a lot of amazing people and I really enjoy my time there, I can only recommend the place and the job.
