What we expect from our Worldpackers:
We warmly welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, kind, and ready to be part of our small and creative learning community. You will support our teachers in the daily classroom routine with children aged 18 months to 10 years and assist during our all-year-round camp programs (ages 3–13). We love when volunteers bring their own unique talents—whether it’s music, storytelling, yoga, sports, crafts, or anything else hands-on and engaging. Volunteers are expected to be punctual, flexible, respectful, and proactive. Helping hands are also appreciated during snack and mealtimes, playtime supervision, and light classroom preparation or cleanup.
Depending on your enthusiasm and desire for engagement, working hours are usually Monday to Friday, between 4-8 hours per day, with weekends off unless we have a special event (which we will always let you know about in advance).
What you can expect from us:
You will become part of a loving and multicultural team in a peaceful, green environment. You’ll get hands-on experience in a progressive, child-centered educational setting and have the chance to learn about Waldorf-inspired education, Thai culture, and holistic teaching methods. You’ll be offered guidance and support throughout your stay, and we’ll take the time to integrate you into the flow of our day and ensure you feel welcome and useful. Volunteers receive lunch on working days, and we are happy to help you with local tips, transport suggestions, and ways to explore the beautiful island of Phuket in your free time.
We look forward to welcoming open-hearted individuals who are excited to share and grow with us.

Rules
Additional Rules for Volunteers :
Respect our values: We follow a child-centered, gentle, and respectful approach to education. Volunteers must treat children, staff, and families with kindness, patience, and care at all times.
No phones around children: Use of mobile phones is not allowed during working hours, especially around the children. Please keep your phone on silent and only use it during breaks or in designated areas.
Appropriate clothing: Volunteers should wear modest, comfortable clothing suitable for working with children—no revealing outfits, short shorts, or tops with offensive language/symbols.
Punctuality & reliability: We depend on our volunteers to show up on time and stay for the agreed working hours. If you are sick or delayed, please inform us as soon as possible.
Confidentiality: All information shared within the school—about children, families, or operations—must remain private. Photos of children may not be taken or shared on social media without explicit permission.
No smoking, alcohol, or drugs: These are strictly prohibited on school grounds and during any school-related activities.
Initiative welcomed: We love when volunteers bring new ideas, games, or creative activities! Just speak with a teacher first to coordinate and align with our daily rhythm.
Be mindful of cultural differences: We are an international team working in a Thai cultural setting. Respect, open-mindedness, and humility are key.
