Help with Renovations and Building a Studio
The experience
We need help renovating some rooms and if we achieve enough, start building a arts and crafts studio using reclaimed wood and stone. We aim to make it hyper-insulated and close to carbon zero.
Please only experienced people should apply as I am limited in time for training, as there will be other volunteers on site.

Program Details
I prefer people who are self-starters and can work on their own. This position is for various kinds of construction and renovation work. In general, during the hot months, we work first thing in the morning until it's hot, then break until later afternoon and then finish evening tasks.
Activities & Shift
Can expect breaks during the day, and we often go biking and/or swimming in the ocean when it's hot. The town is one of Japan's top tourist destinations, so there's a fair amount to see during breaks.
Rules
Safety is the most important rule, but we are also working to be green, so this means using as few resources as possible.
