I think this could have been a fulfilling experience had the host had a clear idea of what he wanted to accomplish with the project. Most people who travel and volunteer want to work on and collaborate on projects that have a vision behind them. The host was cool, but I felt like he was making it up as we went along. I also felt like it was my project because I was the only volunteer there, and the host did not assist with any physical labor. I felt more like an errand boy than someone collaborating on a project.
