The experience

We are empty nesters who are passionate about sled dogs. We love to explore new trails and races with them and invite you to experience life with sled dogs. We live on a 17 acre farm in Southern Ontario, with a kennel of siberian and Alaskan huskies. We have a large warm, clean and welcoming home with over sized rooms overlooking the kennel. We are offering room, board and an experience to race at the Kearney Sled Dog Race in Ontario, Canada.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate German

Between 19 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
