I loved my time at the Center, it's a welcoming, peaceful, quiet place amongst the rainforest. You can work & gain experience in lots of different areas. You can attend most things for free and 2 free coffees a day was a big plus! Something to note is that I was mostly working while the teachings are on as this is the busiest time, so I wish I had more chance to learn about the tradition. However if you communicate which events you want to attend they will try and accommodate you, so make sure to do this. I would recommend the Center to anybody. Thank you all!

An absolutely magical place to be! I stayed for 2 months when originally I was only supposed to be here for 2 weeks. Set schedule so no need to wonder what the day will look like and plenty of variety to keep things interesting. They want to work with you and make sure you are having a great time so let them know if you have concerns! Workshops galore if you find something you're interested in checking out related to Buddhism. Come with a good attitude and an open mind and this could be a life changing experience:)

Stayed at the Center for two and a half weeks but could've stayed longer. Everyone (volunteers, monks, nuns, staff, etc) was kind, patient, and always willing to help. The forest setting was perfect for slowing down, meditating, journaling, and painting. Delicious food (sometimes spicy in a character-building way), great conversations about Buddhism, and a real sense of community. Huge thanks to Paige, Em, Ryan, and everyone who made it unforgettable. I left lighter, calmer, and so grateful đź’›

I loved my volunteer experience. Everyone is very friendly, and there's a chance to learn about Buddhism. You'll have plenty of personal space and a welcoming place to socialize. The food is amazing, and there's a lot of positive energy. I would definitely recommend it to other backpackers.

The Center was one of the best volunteering experiences I've had. The people are lovely, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the work is really interesting (I mostly helped at the café). The place has such a unique and uplifting energy. I highly recommend it — and I'm actually going back soon for a second volunteering stay! ✨

Volunteering at the Center was an unforgettable experience. The management is truly amazing—supportive, organized, and kind. Everyone there is incredibly helpful and caring, creating a warm and welcoming community. The food nourishes not just the body, but the soul. There are always interesting teachings and events to join, offering opportunities for deep reflection and growth. This peaceful, inspiring place left a lasting impression on me, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm deeply grateful for the time I spent there.

Amazing place to fully get emerged in the Buddist way of living and to get in a peaceful state of mind. Can't say any bad thing about this place. Very welcoming group, good accomodation and great food provided (you won't starve here). As we we're with more volunteers we had more time to attend some practices and teachings. I had to work in the cafe, kitchen, shop and did some housekeeping but I never felt like I had too much work. If you want a day off they will be flexible and Noosa is 30 min away by car where you can go for some hiking/swimming.
