The experience

Volunteer role at Wheel Farm Cottages, a small farm stay in North Devon. Help with housekeeping changeovers, light gardening, and general maintenance from 9am–2pm, five days a week. Accommodation provided. Great for those who enjoy the outdoors, practical tasks, and peaceful countryside living with countryside delights and a relaxed atmosphere.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Program Details

We provide accommodation and if on a day i am free, I can collect you from the station. I provide food and a team kitchen. Shower in the leisure building. Range of beds in our property depending on when you are here. Can offer days out for people without cars when I am over there and it is not working day.

Activities & Shift

All Friday, Saturday and Mondays will be likely taken up. We will certainly need someone to work around the client demands.

Rules

No smoking. Working to the hours with some flexibility, most days will be more but there is also fewer days needed. 3 days off should be expected.
