The experience

We just completed construction for our home and opened it up to short-term rentals for the summer. It has some areas that we are still trying to slowly improve, but with no major timeline or pressure. You would stay in a 4 bedroom house that has private rooms, private bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area that would just be for volunteers. We are getting to know Ericeira and want some fun/social people to help us explore.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We are trying to run a guesthouse for the summer while thinking about our long-term coliving goals. So about 50% is the normal cleaning/maintaining of space than the other 50% is maintaining a social atmosphere and getting out into the community to find interesting activities for our coliving future.

Activities & Shift

General cleaning to maintain the house. We will be painting the occasional wall and improving where we can. We have cleaners multiple days, but if a check-out and check-in happen on the same day, you will help us turn over the room (normally once per week or so).
