The experience
We’re looking for an open-minded, energetic volunteer to join our hostel family!
Your role is to help shy travelers connect and make friends through fun activities like walking tours, game nights, and rooftop socials.
You’ll work 4 hours a day, 4 days a week welcoming new arrivals, hosting activities, and creating unforgettable experiences. Treat guests like friends, spread positive vibes, and join them to explore the city.
What you offer
16 hours of help per week
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
Music:
Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.
Tour Guide:
Organize and lead tours around the city.
Party Promoter:
Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
What you get

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements
Intermediate English
Between 18 and 40 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
Our Guest Experience Volunteer program focuses on creating memorable experiences for international travelers.
You'll work 16 hours per week (Wednesday-Sunday) helping guests connect with each other and discover local culture.
This role combines hospitality, event coordination, and cultural exchange.

Activities & Shift
Daily Tasks (approx. 4 hours per day)
Welcome new guests during check-in hours and provide orientation.
Organize daily activities such as walking tours, game nights, cooking sessions, and group outings.
Facilitate introductions between guests and encourage social interaction.
Assist with local recommendations and travel advice.
Help resolve minor guest issues with a positive and proactive attitude.
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in common areas.
Plan and promote weekend social events and parties.

-No romantic relationships with guests during the volunteer period.
-Reliability is essential—participate fully in scheduled shifts.

-Represent the hostel positively in all guest interactions.
-Join weekly feedback sessions with management to share ideas and improvements.
-Weekend availability is required for this role.
